The Solanco School District is partnering with local preschools because research indicates early education is critically important in the future education of every child.

- Community Action Program of Lancaster County
- The CAP Head Start program serves children in all areas of Lancaster County. Head Start is a free preschool program for three and four-year-olds from low-imcome families. Services include free meals in the classroom, health and dental screenings and social services. Head Start welcomes typically developing children and those with disabilities.
