• Provide a local option for current resident cyber school students/families
• Savings for the school district
• Provide a quality and comprehensive curriculum for those families interested in another option for their children
• Local operation/control of the SVA
• Strong link to our state/local curriculum

Who is it for...

• We are providing this as an alternative for cyber-charter school students living in the Solanco School District
• Students from school districts that have contracted with the Solanco Virtual Academy

How we are staffed...

• SVA Administrator responsible for registration and the coordination of the academy
• SVA Project Manager responsible for technology and system management
• All courses are taught by certified and NCLB- highly qualified teachers
• Our teachers provide face-to-face tutoring time, if needed

What we provide...

• If needed.... computer, printer, internet access reimbursement
• Curriculum and textbooks
• Technology support
• Individualized and personalized instructional support/contact by certified staff

SVA Curriculum...

• Aligned with PA state standards
• There is a balance of on-grade level material, higher-level-thinking activities, and reinforcement at a lower level.
• The program is student centered and easy to navigate
• Material parallels regular classroom instruction
• There are face-to-face opportunities for communication with teachers
