Welcome to Providence Elementary School!

    Welcome to Providence Elementary School where we motivate, challenge, and inspire all students to achieve success.

    Our elementary program is built on solid teaching techniques taught by caring and well-educated teachers who use best practices and current teaching strategies. Our support staff is highly qualified and an asset to our school.

We have an enrollment of approximately 365 students in grades K through 5. We also have six special educations classrooms. Providence Elementary has met the AYP goals (Adequate Yearly Progress) measured by PSSA (PA System of School Assessment) every year since testing began.

    Successful schools have strong and positive home-school partnerships where children learn to be responsible, industrious, and caring people. I am pleased that we have that home support, many parent volunteers, and willing P.T.O. members.  We have a variety of PTO events planned for the year, and I hope that all families can attend.

    We encourage families to carefully read the monthly newsletter which is sent home on the reverse side of the lunch menu. Important information and updated events will be placed in this newsletter. It will also be posted monthly on this website.
